I’m not as bad about keeping up with my eating habits and work outs as I am about updating y’all on them!
Just wanted to drop in and say hello to those of you that follow where I am in my journey! So a quick reminder that as of last time I was 313 lbs, and my first goal weight is currently 300! I have my first weigh in in the morning at 5AM and I’m super nervous! 2 weeks ago is when I first weighed in and that would have been only 6 times that I’ve worked out since I’m starting slow and going three days a week. If I’ve lost a pound that is more than I would have lost doing nothing so I’ll be happy with whatever.
I made these super cute goal jars today while watching the biggest loser, i’ll post a picture for y’all at the end of this post. Surprisingly it made wanting to lose 178 pounds seem like a smaller goal… but we’ll see. Overall I’ve noticed so many changes since I’ve started working out. Not in my body per se, but more in my attitude. At first spin class and working out were a challenge to even get there, now I look forward to going. I feel that I’m a more confident dedicated person already even though my body is yet to change, my mind is changing. That, I think, is really the most important thing about all of this anyway. If my body changed but my mindset never did, in a year or two I’d be right back where I started. In changing my mind I’ve made a permanent change. My body changes everyday, and my weight will never stop fluctuating but my perspective is set and will stay that way.
